Development of a high mountain shelter.
Install a mountain shelter from the utilization of an existing former mining workshop, that would offer lodging and basic services for expeditions towards Corona del Inca Crater and other peaks of the region of more than 6,000 m.a.m.s.l. The shelter will count with 5 dorms and basic services. It considers an architecture that is suitable for adverse climate conditions as regards its sustainable materials and elements relating to energy matters.
Laguna Brava Provincial Reserve is the second most important tourism attraction of the province. Outstanding landscape and biological beauty could be part of a future net of high mountain shelters in the North Region of the Andes Mountain for expeditions and journeys. Laguna Brava is accessed by Provincial Route 76 from Vinchina locality 115 km away.
Associated to the High Andes Natural Route, it covers a region of about 1,200 Km at the foot of the highest and most impressive peaks of the Mountain Chain. It is an ideal area for those practicing adventure tourism. It invites to climb mountains and traverse inhospitable and scarcely populated areas with astonishing landscapes.
