Potrerillos lakeshores do not count with buildings but presents the best conditions for new tourism developments.
Mendoza Provincial Government has the titularity of the lands for the master plan development and the radication of tourism services.
Potrerillos is a touristic village located over the Andes Mountain Range. It is accessed by National Route 7 and provincial Route 89. It is composed of other small mountain villages and is an ideal site for the practice of activities related to active and nature tourism such as trekking and rock climbing. It has sport equipment clubs; adventure tourism proposals and nautical sports.
It is associated to High Andes Natural Route, which attracts climbers and high trekking lovers, but also offers experiences for all types of travelers, including hiking, horse riding, photographic safaris and winter sports.

It will depend on the tourist services to be developed.

Strengthen binational circuits by Cristo Redentor Crossing – National Route 7 – Santiago de Chile. Integrate natural and cultural heritage. Potenciate and strengthen mountain destinations.
